Privacy
Your data, plainly.
What the site records, why, for how long, and how to change your mind.

The brief and your messages
When you click “Send”, the brief form passes your message to me by e-mail: it goes through the site’s server (Cloudflare), which hands it to my professional mailbox at OVHcloud, without keeping anything. If sending fails, you can send it from your own mail app. Your e-mail and brief are only used to reply and to prepare a quote; they are kept for three years after our last exchange, then deleted.
Your draft is kept on your device (browser local storage) so you do not lose it; it is erased with the “Clear” button or by clearing the site’s data.
Necessary storage
Without consent, the site only keeps on your device: language, theme, brief draft (30 days) and your cookie choice (asked again after six months). None of it is transmitted.
Audience measurement (with your consent)
If you accept, the site measures: pages viewed and their order, landing page and referring site (including utm campaign parameters), time spent and reading depth, sections read, buttons and links used, videos started and watched, FAQ questions opened, brief steps and fields to correct, language, theme and screen type, number of visits, city and country derived from the IP address, and technical errors. The aim: understand what helps visitors and improve the site. No advertising, no commercial profiling, no resale.
When you prepare a brief, its reference (SL-…) is linked to your visit: it shows me which path leads to a request. Neither your name, e-mail nor number is sent to these tools.
Short question (with your consent)
If you accepted audience measurement, a short question may appear (for example what you came for). You can close it without answering; it does not come back.
Session recording (with your consent)
If you accept this separately, your browsing can be replayed (movements, scrolling, clicks) and aggregated into heatmaps. All input fields and the message preview are masked before anything is sent. Recordings are kept for 30 days at most.
Tools and cookies
- PostHog (PostHog Inc., data hosted in the European Union, Frankfurt): audience measurement and session recording. Cookie and local storage “ph_…”, 12 months at most; data kept for 12 months.
The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com; it only loads if you click “See available slots” or open the link, and that service then applies its own policy. If you book, your name, e-mail and form answers are used to prepare the call; the invitation is added to my Google calendar and the call takes place on Google Meet.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, purpose by purpose: . The tools’ cookies are then erased.
Legal bases
Your brief and our exchanges: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (preparing a reply and a quote), then performance of the contract if you order. Invoicing: legal obligation (invoices are kept for ten years). Audience measurement and session recording: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who has access
Only me. Your messages arrive in my professional mailbox, hosted in France by OVHcloud, which forwards them to my Gmail mailbox (Google); both act as technical providers. Audience data and recordings are processed by PostHog, as processors. If a project needs it (film crew, actor, subcontractor), I only share what is useful, after telling you, and under an NDA if you wish. Nothing is sold or rented.
The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), its host: to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, it technically processes your IP address and browser information. It sets no tracking cookie.
Cloudflare also produces aggregated traffic statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): number of visits, page views, country, load times. No cookie or identifier, and no tracking of a person from one visit to the next.
Transfers outside the European Union: Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare and Cal.com may process data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework recognised by the European Commission or standard contractual clauses.
Videos and external links
The site’s videos are hosted with it, with no third-party player. Links to YouTube, LinkedIn or GitHub open those sites, which apply their own policy.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to its processing, and give instructions on what happens to it after your death, by writing to matthieu@studiolatent.fr. Reply within one month at most. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
